I rise to support the motion of censure of the premier, knowing that is a serious and (I believe) unprecedented action. And I can genuinely say, honourable speaker, I do this sadly & reluctantly, But after much reflection, my conscience is clear. The Premier’s threats that this censure motion will lead to instability, not withstanding, this is a proper response to the clear failings.

I remain disturbed by the events of the past few weeks that have highlighted concerns about probity in public life.

We write jointly, as members of the crossbench, regarding matters arising from the resignation of former Minister, Madeleine Ogilvie.
